There are various microneedling devices some of which combine energy technology to help with skin tightening.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a non-surgical procedure that activates cell regeneration. Microneedling creates tiny channels in your skin to help induce collagen formation and remodeling. The SkinPen® handheld device can be used on all skin types to tighten and lift the skin, reduce acne scarring, fade surgical scar or even help with stretch marks.

Microneedling can be combine with platelet rich plasma (PRP) for enhanced results. This is commonly known as the vampire facial. The PRP along with hundreds of growth factors are infused into your skin with the tiny micro channels created with the SkinPen®.

Will Microneedling tighten my skin?

Microneedling can be combined with radiofrequency (Pixel8) for skin tightening. This energy technology allows for heat to be transferred through the needling device and further aid in collagen remodeling and skin tightening.

What areas can I treat?

Commonly treated areas include the full face and hands. You may also treat your abdomen or buttock depending on your goals.

What is the recovery time?

There is minimal down time. Most patients will experience mild redness for a few hours following the procedure. Microneedling helps improve the quality of your skin. It does not replace surgical procedures or volume loss.
